Lead poisoning can have lifelong impacts on our children, robbing them of their full potential. Even low levels of exposure can cause irreversible health problems when left untreated. And, while the problem hits low-income and communities of color the hardest, it affects children across all demographics throughout New England.
In this special teleconference in recognition of Lead Poisoning Prevention Week, our panel of experts will share with us the health hazards of lead poisoning, the best ways to avoid exposure, and the actions we need our state governments to take to stop this devastating – and entirely preventable – epidemic once and for all.
If you can't join the teleconference on the 25th, you can still RSVP, then choose the option to receive a recording of it instead.
